Describe what you need in plain words and Lovable builds a working app with a database, auth and payments. Not a mockup, code you can take with you.
Build a booking site for a barbershop with calendar and payments
Examples
One builder for any business, from a barber booking page to a SaaS with payments. Every layout opens on desktop and on phone.
From a sentence to a live site in minutes, not hours.
Describe what you want, Lovable writes it for you.
Every layout adapts to phones on its own.
Real code that syncs to GitHub, no lock-in.
How it goes
Building websites with AI looks like this: you describe the task in words and Lovable assembles a finished product. No block editor, no hand-coding.
Plain sentences, no technical vocabulary. Lovable asks back if something is unclear rather than guessing.
Screens appear as it works. You correct it in the same chat: move this, add that, change the colour.
One click to a live address, your own domain if you want one. The repository syncs to GitHub, so you are not locked in.
What you get
Not a form that emails you. Actual tables you can query, backed by Supabase and wired up for you.
Sign-up, login, password reset and user roles come up in one request instead of a week of plumbing.
The project is a real React repository that syncs to your GitHub. No lock-in, ever.
Add a model call to what you build: an assistant, an analyser, a generator, without leaving the builder.
Simple by default
No canvas to learn, no blocks to drag. You write what the site should do in plain language and watch it appear, then correct it in the same chat.
The builder does the heavy lifting. You bring the idea, it writes the code.
It asks back when something is unclear instead of guessing and getting it wrong.
Works everywhere
Every layout adapts to phones and tablets on its own. The same content stays clear and readable whether it opens on a laptop or a five-inch screen.
No separate mobile version to maintain. It just works on small screens.
From a blank chat to a live, responsive site the same evening.
Fast and safe
Sites come out lean and quick, and the sensitive parts are handled properly: auth, data access rules and payments are wired the way they should be, not bolted on.
Modern output that does not make visitors wait, which search engines reward.
Access rules and auth set up correctly from the start, not left as your homework.

Our pick
We built the same project on six builders and graded them on six criteria. Lovable's strongest showing was on speed to first build.
Most builders stop at the interface. Here a database, sign-up and file storage come up in the same conversation, which is the part that usually eats the week.
Compared with v0A real React repository that syncs to GitHub. If you outgrow the builder, you open the project in an editor and keep going instead of starting over.
Compared with CursorWhen something breaks it usually reads the error and repairs it without being told how. That single habit is the difference between a toy and a tool.
Full reviewFive credits a day without a card, and those daily credits keep coming on paid plans too. Enough to find out whether it suits you before deciding anything.
Pricing breakdownIn 2026 Lovable became the first coding-agent platform to earn AIUC-1, the industry's first security and reliability standard for AI agents, shaped with input from Stanford, MIT, MITRE and the Cloud Security Alliance. It is verified by an outside auditor with quarterly red-teaming, not self-declared, which matters when the code touches real user data.
Full reviewCost is the sore spot. Heavy iteration burns credits, and the subscription is only the first bill: what your published app calls at runtime is charged separately. Worth knowing before you commit.
AlternativesDo the math
The pricing page shows the price of a bundle, not the burn. This runs on Lovable's own published numbers: message costs from their example table, tiers from their docs.
Monthly burn
158
credits over 22 working days
Of those, 110 come from the free daily credits. Everyone gets them, paid plans included, capped at 150 a month. You pay for 48.
Plan that covers it
Pro100 cr. · $25/mo
Annual billing is $250, which works out to $21 a month.
An estimate, not a bill. A message can cost under one credit or over two depending on how much work you ask for in one go. Cloud and the model calls your published app makes at runtime are billed separately from the subscription. Pricing checked 24 July 2026, source.

Lovable was built for SaaS, but the same React plus Supabase stack quietly turns out to be one of the cleanest ways to ship a small AI game in a weekend. This is the playbook we use.
Comparisons14 min
After 60 hours rebuilding the same SaaS in Lovable and Bolt, we measured speed, code quality, deploy cost, and what breaks at scale. The result is more nuanced than either marketing site admits.

Most SaaS tutorials assume you already know how to code. This one assumes you have a problem worth solving. We will take you from blank screen to live subscription product in seven structured days.

We collected, tested, and ranked the prompts that produce premium Lovable outputs on the first try. Landing pages, dashboards, MVPs, design systems, AI features, and the structural prompts that hold them together.
